Welcome to Creative and Visual Services at MTSU

Creative and Visual Services (CVS) is the University’s in-house creative engine—home to MTSU’s award-winning designers, photographers, writers, and printing specialists. We bring ideas to life through visuals, words, and experiences that represent the excellence of MTSU to students, faculty, alumni, and the community.. 

Our Services

• Design: Creating meaningful, effective visuals that represent MTSU.
• Photography: Building an extensive, high-quality image library.
• Printing: Full-service digital and wide-format printing, signs, banners, various styles of finishing and binding, inclusive of on-campus delivery and seamless invoicing.

Project Request Guidelines and Timelines

• All external facing publications must be created or approved by CVS.
• A unique publication number and EOE statement is required for these types of publications. 
• See University Policy 154 regarding Publications.

Turnaround Times and Rush Fees

Design

• Standard—10 business days
• Rush (2 complete business days)—double the charge

Printing

• Standard—5 business days
• 48-Hour Rush (2 complete business days) + $25
• 24-Hour Rush (24 hours or less) + $50
• Same Day Rush (Less than 8 hours) + $75

NOTE: Project timelines do not include university holidays.

Billing

CVS currently operates on two billing systems: chargeback and a prepay. The prepay system only applies to divisions who have opted in, and only to those using “2” index numbers. If you are using index numbers that begin with “0, 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9”, you will receive a monthly invoice. These index numbers require monthly invoices be sent.
